The RORC Caribbean 600 had its first time launch in February 2009 and is hosted by the Royal Ocean Racing Club and the Antigua Yacht Club. The course of this 600 Mile Regatta includes the start and finish in Antigua from where the race takes off to Barbuda, Nevis, St. Christopher, St. Eustatius, St. Barths and around St. Martin and Guadeloupe back to Antigua. This very special regatta has caught a lot of interest and enthusiastic fans within the past years and is on its best way to become a classic among the Caribbean regattas.

The Giraglia Rolex Cup is one of the most famous regattas in the Western Mediterranean and since over 50 years part of the top regattas within the French and Italian regatta scene.
The different regattas take place for a week in June and start off with short races for three days in the Gulf of Saint Tropez. From the fourth day onwards the boats will compete against each other at open sea in a long distance race from Saint Tropez to La Fourmique passing La Giraglia North of Corsica all the way to Genoa/Italy covering a distance of 243 sea miles.
The combination of short and long distance races make this regatta an interesting and popular one as well as the Mediterranean atmosphere and legendary parties on the citadel in Saint Tropez which attract many sailors.

The Rolex Middle Sea Race belongs to the classics of sailing regattas. Start and finish of this regatta is La Valetta, the capital of Malta.
The beautiful old town of La Valetta with its traditional houses offers the best background for the exciting races. The course of the Rolex Middle Sea Race leads around the island of Sicily in 606 sea miles. The first check point is Capo Passero which leads through the Messina strait afterwards. This strait is known for its strong currents which represent the first challenge for the sailors.
The next passage leads past the aegaen islands Favignana and Marettimo whereas the last part of the race heads back to La Valetta past the islands of Pantelleria and Lampedusa.
100 boats from all over the world will take part in this year’s Rolex Middle Sea Race in Malta and fans are eager to experience the breaking of the record which is being held by the American yacht ‘Rambler’ since 2007. It took the Captain and crew exactly 1 day, 23 hours, 55 minutes and 3 seconds to finish this challenging race.

This yearly transatlantic rally starts in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria and meanwhile has turned into one of the most popular ways to cross the Atlantic. Every year over 200 yachts from all over the world are participating in this event, the biggest transatlantic sailing event worldwide. The destination of this race is Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia in the Caribbean and the 2700 sea miles via the North-east trade route are taking between 14 up to 21 days.
The rally was designed for distance sailors, in order to make the crossing safer and more comfortable. It is mandatory for participating yachts to have an immaculate safety equipment on board including a safety raft, EPIRB and VHF radio. Daily radio communication between the boats and the ARC central control are a must and guarantee even more safety for the participants.
The ARC obtains its unique flair through the mix of racing yachts and comfortable sailing yachts, young and old participants, experienced regatta sailors and less off-shore experienced sailors. A vast entertainment is underlining the race’s uniqueness before the race as well as after. The ARC is supported and sponsored by the Tourism Authority of Gran Canaria, the port authority of Las Palmas, Rol Nautic and the St. Lucia board of tourism.
